About Poker Charts
Poker Charts was created by software and web development firm Speedboat Interactive, based in New York City. The engineers and poker enthusiasts at Speedboat had originally been using home-grown spreadsheet templates to track their performance in home games and online card rooms. This all changed when one of the engineers caught a virus on his laptop that corrupted his hard drive and months of poker records along with it.
To prevent this from happening again, the engineers brainstormed and developed a web-based, database-driven application for tracking their results. Since they often played with each other, they made absolutely sure the data was segmented and hidden from other users in the database. Slowly but surely the team added the graphs and opponent tracking features that have made the application the user-friendly statistical diary it is today.
Poker Charts is constantly improving as we incorporate user feedback and think of new ways to gain an edge in poker through record keeping and statistical analysis. Please do not hesitate to send us your candid feedback. As poker players ourselves we want the application to be the best.
